The purpose of The Gazette’s Newspaper, Internet and Education program is
to nurture future newspaper readers, to promote literacy and civic awareness,
to foster kid-safe Internet opportunities, and provide a voice for Lorain County
youth through in-paper and on-line content. Targeting school-aged youth, their
teachers and parents, this mission is met or exceeded by:

  • Providing high-quality materials that utilize newspapers as the primary text.
  • Creating programs that appeal to the changing needs of the education community.
  • Publishing in-paper and on-line student work including book reviews.
  • Supporting teachers through superior customer service.

NIE Gazette E-Edition Teacher Registration

In addition to the printed newspaper delivery for the ELECTIONS (directly below) be sure to register for the electronic edition (scroll down) for your classroom absolutely FREE. Bringing your kids local news throughout the school year.

  • From time to time, we may send you email announcements on new featured programs, products and services from the Gazette NIE. Information is used solely for The Gazette's NIE program and will not be shared with outside vendors.

    As part of the Newspaper In Education Program you may register to have the electronic edition for your students now through June, 2017. ABSOLUTELY FREE. Fill out the start and end date and you will be registered within two business days.
